Dark Hours Anthologies bring together acclaimed authors, emerging writers, and bold new voices to explore crime through the places, people, professions, histories, and communities that shape our world.

Every collection begins with a singular idea and an editor with a strong vision. These aren’t random stories gathered between two covers. Each anthology is designed to become something larger—a portrait of a city, a community, or a world, illuminated by the dark light of crime fiction.

A portion of the proceeds from every Dark Hours anthology will support a charitable organization connected to the people, places, or issues at the heart of the book.

CITY OF DEAD NAMES will benefit organizations serving the transgender community. CITY OF ASHES, inspired by the Los Angeles wildfires, will help support affected communities. FRACTURED CITY, exploring mental health through crime fiction, will benefit organizations providing mental health resources and support.

Future anthologies will create opportunities to support social workers, underserved communities, arts and literacy programs, and other causes that grow naturally from the stories we publish.
